You will get instructions form the NYGC to download the data specifically a username, password and data path. You can do the download from any machine but we have a specially setup up machine with a fast dedicated connection to the NYGC. The machine is called charon you will receive a login on that machine. If you use that one you will (should) get 10Gb of pretty much dedicated bandwidth for the download. Once you hear from the sysadmins that your account is ready, log into that machine and you can download the data to:
/ifs/res/<LAB_DIRECTORY>
